ITG xpPhone shown off in green, and yes, you can have a different color

This isn't the first time we've seen what would appear to be an xpPhone dummy in the wild paired with a mocked-up display; that honor would go to a Computex debut earlier this year. What these new shots of ITG's Windows XP-powered wonder do demonstrate, though, is what a MID-turned-smartphone looks like with a lick of moss green painted around the edges. It's not really our style, to be honest -- and fortunately, it seems that ITG will be offering the production device in white, red, black, or silver (on top of a limitless array of 3G options, display sizes, and operating systems), but heck, we'd be happy taking it in ochre if they'd just promise a reasonably-priced release in the next century.

In the Heart of Central America: Planning a wedding or honeymoon in Honduras

Imagine walking down a lush green aisle to a small open-air wooden structure where billowy white curtains frame a view of a valley spread below and blueish mountains in the distance. An intimate group of family and friends has gathered to watch you say your vows on this hilltop and after the ceremony, they'll join you to celebrate as the sun sets and the lights of the village beneath you and the stars above begin to twinkle in the dark.

That fantasy, and several others, can come true in Honduras. Honduras is overlooked as a destination wedding or honeymoon spot, but the country offers just as many opportunities for romance as its Caribbean and Central American counterparts.

Whether you fancy yourself as a barefoot bride or want to go eco-chic, Honduras has a wedding locale for you. And because all-inclusive "wedding factory" resorts don't exist here, brides can take comfort in knowing that their special day will indeed be special and private.

Those looking for an adventurous honeymoon in Honduras will find plenty of activities, like zip-lining, diving, horseback riding and white-water rafting here as well. Here are three location options to get you started planning a wedding or honeymoon in Honduras.

Copan
Hacienda San Lucas is situated on a hill just outside of the town of Copan Ruin as. From the hotel's deck chairs, you can see the ruins of Copan and the town below. It's a long walk from the Hacienda into town, but owner Flavia will arrange for pick up and drop off for guests. You can also hop into a moto-taxi for the $1 ride home.

Japanese hardware sales, Nov. 30 - Dec. 6: Gundam overdose edition

Look at them charts! Just look at 'em. Observe the massive upswings for the PSP and Wii, and the surplus of pine tree-esque emerald arrows. Observe the conglomeration of the three different DS SKUs -- is this a beautiful coincidence? Fate? Some sort of devious plot deviously devised by Japanese game buyers? Look at the falling sales of the two new handhelds, both of which ... wait, no. Don't look at those. Those are ugly. Look at the other things. The trees.

The top two contenders claimed their respective gold and silver medals this week on the strength of two big titles for each console. For the Wii, it was New Super Mario Bros. Wii (934,739 units) and Samurai Warriors 3 (121,182 units). For the PSP, it was Phantasy Star Portable 2 (286,896 units) and a game called -- we swear we're not making this up -- Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam Next Plus (222,985 units). We're guessing that last one could have easily broken a million had it included a few more Gundams in its title.

May we suggest Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam vs. Gundam Next Plus: The Quest for Ol' Gundam's Lost Gundam 2: Gundam Edition?

- Wii: 106,555 59,882 (128.30%)
- PSP: 67,880 29,041 (74.77%)
- PS3: 57,782 11,224 (24.11%)
- DSi LL: 53,791 13,452 (20.01%)
- DSi: 51,635 14,614 (39.47%)
- DS Lite: 8,367 1,099 (15.12%)
- Xbox 360: 5,314 1,629 (44.21%)
- PSP Go: 3,412 397 (10.42%)
- PS2: 2,277 220 (10.70%)

Tumblr starts pushing real-time updates via PubSubHubbub

Tumblr, the fast-growing lightweight blogging platform, is constantly adding new features. Tumblr's latest move is to start pushing users' blog updates in real time, using PubSubHubbub (try saying that 10 times fast). Tumblr's real-time will be powered by Superfeedr, which is the same service used by Tumblr competitor Posterous.

This is more of a step for the future than a right-now sort of thing, because most RSS readers don't support PubSubHubbub yet. To get these fancy new real-time updates, instead of the old-fashioned RSS ones, you can use Friendfeed, Lazyfeed, or the new Netvibes Wasabi. With PubSubHubbub, you get new updates immediately, instead of checking for them at intervals or having to reload manually.

Australia releases R18+ discussion paper, requests public feedback

The Australian government has finally released the R18+ discussion paper and is requesting comment on whether the adult classification should be made available for video games. For those just joining us, Aussie video game classification caps at MA15+, meaning any game unsuitable for a 15-year-old can't be sold in the region.

Submissions stating why the government should allow an R18+ rating for games is due by February 28, 2010. The government spells out quite plainly that any change in the classification policy "must be unanimously agreed [upon] by Commonwealth, State and Territory Censorship Ministers."

[Thanks Simon and everyone else who sent this in]

Schwarzenegger Spotted In Franck Muller Watch Store

The State of California and the watch maker brand and group Franck Muller have something in common. They are both in dire financial straights. Both have likely over extended themselves financially, and both seem to continue in operation somehow.

California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger was recently spotted in Milan, Italy shopping at a Franck Muller boutique store. While Schwarzenegger is a well known watch lover, I was not previously aware that he was a fan of Franck Muller timepieces. Now I know. For those of you that don't know, Arnold is a big fan of big watches. Luxury watch brands have been known to make special timepieces just for him. One relatively recent watch I hear that he purchased was sized at a whopping 60mm wide. To my knowledge, Franck Muller doesn't make anything this large, but they have some hefty timepieces.

The reports aren't clear as to what, if anything Schwarzenegger purchased. He spent some time in the store, as you can see by the candid security camera images. Perhaps if he is helping to save one fiscally troubled entity, he might also refocus his efforts on the State over which he is currently presiding as governor - that probably needs his help more.

Dante's Inferno creators explain 'Violence' in latest dev diary

You might be wondering exactly how Visceral Games managed to get a level themed after "Violence" into Dante's Inferno -- a game where the lead character spends roughly 100% of his time killing anything near him. We were wondering too, and so it was really nice of Visceral Games and EA to release the above dev diary for the "month of violence" that the game's marketing campaign is currently embracing to promote the game's level based on the seventh circle of Hell.

The real question now: what can we expect EA's marketing team during this month's theme? We're not sure just yet, but given its recent track record, we're hoping no one goes to our Editor-in-Chief's house to give him a lesson or two in violence.
